Monday's storm system downed trees in Rankin County as it moved across the state.
A large tree fell onto a home in the 3200 block of Highway 80 in Brandon.
Rankin County Emergency Operations and the Evergreen Volunteer Fire Department were still on the scene around seven o'clock Monday evening.
A smaller tree had to be cleared from the driveway leading to the house to allow emergency responders could reach the damage.
The tree in the front yard of the house also took down power lines when it landed on the front of the home.
There appeared to be considerable roof damage although no obvious gaping holes could be seen from the street.
The property owner did not want to comment but did say that no one was injured.
