Power restored to Edwards

EDWARDS, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Strong winds were to blame for a city wide power outage in Edwards Tuesday night, knocking out electricity to much of the town.

The main powerline, which runs from a sub-station south of town, was cut in the process.

Linemen sub-contracted from Entergy worked throughout the day to make repairs.

Power was restored early Wednesday afternoon.
