JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson Police say 18-year-old Paul Trigg is armed and dangerous. Officers have been combing west Jackson looking for the teenager who is wanted in at least four drive by shootings in the last 3 days.

Trigg already has a record, 4 counts of auto theft, 2 simple assault charges, and 1 aggravated assault. But now Jackson Police officers are involved in a full scale search to put Trigg behind bars.

Police say Trigg has shot 3 people. One of them, Ella McDuffey was in her late 60's. McDuffey was hit in the shoulder Tuesday night when Trigg opened fire on her home on Broad Street. She underwent surgery yesterday and is still hospitalized.

An 18-year-old female at the house, Sharon Chambers, was also injured. She was hit in the hand.

Two days before, Trigg is charged with shooting Ella McDuffey's grandson, Donald McDuffey, in the back.

McDuffey's mother lives on Frederica Avenue. Her car windows are shot out and the house is full of bullet holes. She says their home has been attacked twice.

Police say they are also looking for Pierre Williamson and all of this started over a girl.

Trigg is considered extremely dangerous. He is known to be carrying an SKS assault rifle.

New charges against Trigg include 3 auto thefts, 3 aggravated assaults, and 4 counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Officers are taking extra precautions in the areas where Trigg has already hit and they tell us they won't stop until he is off the streets and behind bars.
