Despite 'Bunny Hop', Easter Sunday turns violent

Despite the "Operation Bunny Hop" law enforcement crackdown effort, Easter Sunday got off to a violent start in the Capital City.

Around 4am, officers responded to a shooting at 4304 Lynda Drive. We're told that a fight broke out. One of those involved in the fight opened fire. The male victim retreated to his navy blue Oldsmobile 98. The car was shot, and the victim was shot in the arm. He was taken to the hospital by private vehicle.

Shortly after that, we're told there was a shooting at the club formerly known as the Upper Level, on West Northside Drive. We're told a security guard shot an unknown victim. No further information was available Sunday morning. We will bring you the latest at 5pm.
