I expect mainly quiet weather the rest of tonight into Monday. Moisture will increase some over the western part of Mississippi. A few showers are possible.
Better rain and storm chances move in for Tuesday, as our next cold front arrives. The risk of storms will continue into Tuesday evening.
Dry weather will return from the middle of the week through at least Friday.
It still appears a rather large and complex storm system will be developing to our west by next weekend. The exact location of this weather system is uncertain, but it may be close enough to bring us at least scattered showers and storms on Saturday and Sunday.
High temperatures will start off near 80 on Monday, dropping into the middle 70s by Wednesday. Lows will be in the 50s and 40s this week.
