JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The rallies supporting Trayvon Martin continued on two wheels in the Capital City and across the country Sunday.

Friends of Fallen Riders were joined by hundreds of motorcyclists from across the state for a memorial ride in honor of the fatally shot Florida teenager.

The riders wore hoodies and gathered in the Big Lots parking lot on I-55 where they prayed for justice in the case.

Motorcyclists came from as far away as Greenville and the gulf coast.

Friends of Fallen Riders said they organized the event on Facebook which took place simultaneously in 10 states.

At three o'clock Sunday afternoon it was kickstands up for thousands of bikers across the country in the Nationwide Motorcycle Ride for Trayvon Martin.

"The world sees now that there has been no justice served for Mr. Trayvon Martin and once we do realize that this is not a race issue. This is about what's right and what's wrong," said DJ Unpredictable with 97.7 FM radio, who stood with Friends of Fallen Riders Founder Helen Brown and member Darilyn Hopkins.

"A lot of this has been blown up and some people take it as a racial statement to do this, but actually it's a statement just talking about somebody losing their kid," said Joe Andrews, a biker who participated in the memorial ride.

Bikers ended their ride on West Street near the fairgrounds in downtown Jackson.
