BYRAM, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
A multi-vehicle wreck slowed traffic on Interstate 55 just before noon Monday.
The wreck involving a Honda, Nissan, and Chevrolet occurred in the southbound lanes a mile before Byram exit.
Several of the motorists were taken from the scene by ambulance.
A Chevrolet pickup truck was also involved in a wreck about a mile away, slamming into the interstate barrier. It's unclear if that driver was injured.
