Three on Your Side got a water leak fixed in south Jackson and the story never hit the air. Benson Warnsley, who lives at 112 Culpepper Drive, just east of Terry Road, called us and said the leak had been fixed a year ago but water was still running down the street.
Warnsley told us, "It got worse than before, with 3 cars landing in a pothole."
Warnsley said he put up the orange cone to try to keep other cars out. Adding that he called the city before he called us.
"(I've had a water leak) right at two years, then fixed it but now it's still leaking. As we can see right now," said Warnsley. "I have been putting this off for four or five months trying to give them an opportunity to come and take care of this. That's the reason I called, to try to get something done. To get the city to know the problem we are having here on Culpepper drive."
We didn't air the story Friday because we couldn't get both sides.
We did a stand up here outlining the story and put it on the Internet and apparently somebody at the city saw it and they came out and fixed the leak.
