A steady flow of 'feeding' low level moisture is keeping some isolated T-storms brewing for Attala, Holmes and northern Madison county to kick off the morning commute. Hwy 12 was hit hardest by this spot storm. Expect a high near 75 degrees, and maintaining a 30% chance of showers during the morning. The afternoon is looking a bit clearer, and winds from the NE at 5-10 mph.
Tonight we clear out all chances of rain from the forecast. Additionally we'll see the clouds clear out as well, allowing temps to fall rapidly. A cooler feel will be in air as temps drop into the 40s; definitely changing the comfortable mild overnight temps and feel to one perhaps requiring long sleeves if you work graveyard shift. Winds will stay light.
Tomorrow we start off with a slight chill in the pre-dawn hours, but we'll warm nicely into the upper 70s. Winds will shift out of the east at 6-11mph under mostly sunny skies. Our next chance of rain is likely to hold off until the weekend; and even then it's only at 20% possibility.
