Car flips off highway, but no one inside

RANKIN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Several law enforcement agencies are investigating an accident in which a car was found flipped over Wednesday morning near the Hinds and Rankin County line.

The driver apparently left the roadway traveling on Interstate 20 eastbound, east of the Pearl River. The vehicle went 200 feet off the road and down an embankment finally coming to a rest at the Pearl River bridge.

Police officers from Richland, Pearl and Jackson were at the scene Wednesday morning, but there was no sign of the car's driver.
