Brookhaven Man Wanted on Federal Drug Charges

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The FBI needs your held locating a man indicted on federal drug charges.

31 year old Fredrick Charles McCalup of Brookhaven was still at large Thursday night.

He is charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute more than 28 grams of crack cocaine.

McCalup was one of eleven individuals indicted on federal drug charges. Ten of the defendants were arrested on April 4th in a multi-agency round-up dubbed "Operation Run this Town."

The operation targeted illegal narcotics being distributed in Marion, Pike, Forrest, and Lincoln counties, as well as Washington Parish, Louisiana.

At that time, law enforcement also seized 7 grams of crack cocaine, four handguns, one assault-type rifle, one 2003 black Cadillac Escalade, and $7,000.00.
