A cold front is marching our direction tonight. Clouds will overspread the area this evening, with showers developing west of I-55 by mid to late evening.
Rain, and perhaps a few rumbles of thunder, will continue overnight. I do not expect severe weather.
Low pressure will intensify near the coast on Saturday morning, then pull east during the afternoon. Rain chances will end west to east through the day. There may be some clearing by late afternoon, especially in western areas.
Temperatures will be much cooler. Breezy northerly winds, along with the clouds and showers, will hold our highs in the 60s on Saturday.
Sunshine returns Sunday!
