Alcorn State announces football head coaching finalists

ALCORN STATE, MS (Alcorn State Athletics) – The search committee for the Alcorn State Head Football Coach has announced four finalists today. 

The four candidates are Michael Armour, Fredrick Farrier, James Hopson and Todd McDaniel.

Armour is currently serving as the Offensive Coordinator at the University of Northern Colorado. He served as a part of the Alcorn Football Staff during 2008 to early 2011.

Farrier is presently employed with the State of Kentucky in the Office of Employment and Training.  He also served as the Head Football Coach at Kentucky State from 2005-2009.

Hopson presently serves as the Defensive Coordinator at the University of Memphis.

McDaniel is the current Coordinator of Football Operations at Alcorn State University.  Last season, McDaniel served as the Defensive Line Coach with the Braves Football Program.

These four individuals will be on campus on Monday April 23, 2012 for interviews with University groups, including faculty and staff, students, Administrators and community. 

Alcorn State will announce a hire next Saturday following the team's spring game.
