Police search for carjacker

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson Police are searching for an armed carjacker.

The incident occurred at 5308 Clinton Boulevard in Jackson at the express lane.

Jackson Police Officer Colendula Green says the male victim was shot in the left leg by the carjacker. His injuries are non life threatening.

Police have not released a description of the car stolen or the thief who got away.
