Jackson man shot to death at apartment complex

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson Police are investigating a deadly shooting at Westwick Apartments.

Spokeswoman Colendula Green says officers were called to the Flag Chapel Road complex about 10:00 P.M. Friday evening for a shots fired call.

Police arrived and found Jackson resident Emanuel Ealey, 37, with a gun shot wound to the chest.

Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham Stewart says Ealey died at the scene.

Investigators have not determined a motive or made any arrests.
