The world's largest running series hit Jackson for the first time!
Warrior Dash got its participants a little dirty in the process!
Warrior Dash is a fierce 5K event that challenges runners with 14 obstacles through the course.
Athletes were greeted by mud, fire, barbed wire and rope climbs during the 5K.
In the end, runners get to celebrate with music, drinks and food at a party on the grounds of the Mississippi Off Road Adventures.
More than nine thousand runners competed in the Warrior Dash.
