Students in Jackson had some fun working out with a celebrity Friday morning.
Patrick House, the winner of season ten of "The Biggest Loser" exercised with students from Oak Forest Elementary School in Jackson. The workout is part of House's "Lean on Me" program. The program encourages students to join House's "Green Team." Those who join the "Green Team," pledge not to judge other children based on their looks and to make healthier eating and exercise choices.
"The message I like to bring to the schools with lean on me is that childhood obesity incidents in our country have tripled in the last 30 years and so with that bringing the lean on me program in and working with these kids we're trying to reverse those numbers," House told WLBT News.
House has shared his "Lean on Me" program with more than thirty schools across Mississippi.
