BRANDON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
The two teenagers who police say led them on a foot chase through Brandon last week have not yet posted their $5,000 bond.
Sirdarous Sheriff, 18, and Rahim Williams, 18, both of Jackson, smiled for our cameras as they left Brandon Municipal Court on Wednesday.
Judge Mike Younger reduced their bond and most of their charges are bound over to a grand jury.
No charges against them have been dropped as WLBT news had been told on Wednesday.
Officers say the two took a stolen car through Brandon and fled on foot when pulled over by police. A multi-agency manhunt continued until the pair turned themselves in two days later.
The two also face charges in other jurisdictions, including armed carjacking in Jackson and auto theft and house burglary in Ridgeland.
