Early morning fog has slowed down travel along highway I-55 between Jackson and McComb; thicker fog the closer to Pike county you get. The additional moisture will keep a 'thick' feel to the air during the afternoon as we warm up to the upper 80s. Winds will be out of the south at 10-15 mph.
Tonight partly cloudy skies are expected and mild to warm conditions overnight. Temps are expected to stay in the upper 60s to lower 70s in some areas. The southerly winds will also keep in warm as well. Chances of rain will hold off until mid week.
Tomorrow we'll start off the day with another batch of fog in isolated areas and temps in the 60s. There's a 'very slight' chance of an afternoon heating shower in the forecast, with highs in the upper 80s. But the best chance of afternoon showers will be Wednesday and Thursday of this work week.
