JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Heavy rain showers moved across much of the metro area Wednesday causing flash flooding and other damage along the way.
A large tree branch fell in the front yard of a home in the 300 block of Wilshire Avenue in Jackson.
Two vehicles were damaged in the process. One of them was completely totaled.
The branch also took down power lines.
The homeowner says she was cooking when she heard a loud noise.
She believes it was a combination of the wind and the rain.
No one was injured.
