Thieves target cars in Madison subdivisions

MADISON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Police in the city of Madison are asking for your help in a string of recent car burglaries.

The thefts happened this past week in subdivisions along Highway 51.

Thieves have been opening unlocked vehicles and taking electronics left inside.

Officials are reminding residents to lock vehicles and secure their garages.

If you have any information about the burglars, please call the Madison Police Department at 601-856-6111.
