Early warmth is more reminiscent of summer weather than spring sunshine. Highs will soar quickly into the 80s and get close to 90. The heat index will also be a bit high with numbers climbing to the mid 90s. Winds will continue out of the south at 5-10 mph.
Tonight the clouds will not be in short order, moisture will stay on the rise without a threat of rain. Overnight lows will stay in the 70s; with winds staying relatively light out of the south.
Tomorrow the sunshine returns with that summer theme in mind. Temps will climb into the 90s statewide. There's a slight chance of rain in the forecast, but it's only 10%.
Normal high for this time of the year is only 80 degrees, and we are averaging 8-10 degrees higher thus far.
