Man in wheelchair hit by car

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A wheelchair bound man is hit by a car about 7:00 p.m. Saturday on Evergreen Avenue.

Paramedics treated the victim at the scene for what appeared to be minor injuries.

Police have not released a description of the vehicle that fled the scene.

No word on if an arrest has been made.
