MADISON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
The beautiful and unique gardens of Madison county were on display in all their glory Sunday afternoon.
The 18th annual Gardens of Madison County Tour was held by Madison-Ridgeland Academy.
You could stroll through eight gardens scattered throughout the area.
The garden tour featured presentations offering creative decorative ideas, cooking demonstrations, as well as party and entertaining tips.
Southern Living magazine lists the featured gardens in its Top 10 Garden Tours of the South.
"We've got wonderful presentations and tablescapes that are on site at each home along with gardening techniques from the master gardener level on down to the novice," said Gardens of Madison County co-chair Amy Feild.
"Something for everyone, water features, vegetable gardens, tropical foliage, all different types of gardening," said Gardens of Madison County co-chair Leslie Dixon.
Madison-Ridgeland Academy students manned a lemonade stand selling beverages to visitors to help raise money during the annual school fundraiser.
