RANKIN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
A woman killed in an accident in Brandon has been identified. Police say the victim is 43 year old Victoria L. Meadows.
Brandon Police Chief Brian Chalk said Meadows died in a single car accident at Highway 80 and I-20. Chief Chalk said meadows had epilepsy and suffered a seizure while driving Monday night. Her vehicle rolled over and hit a power pole.
Meadow's eight year-old son was able to get out of the car and walk to a nearby Mac's gas station to wait for emergency crews. Meadows, who was from Brandon, had to be extricated from the car.
A medical helicopter was called to the scene but Chief Chalk said Meadows was pronounced dead. Chief Chalk said Meadow's son was not injured.
