Pike Co. man arrested for exploiting a vulnerable person

MCCOMB, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A McComb man has been arrested for exploiting thousands of dollars from a vulnerable person.

Kenneth Miller, 61, was taken into custody Tuesday by investigators with the Attorney General's Office, along with deputies from the Pike County Sheriff's Office.

Miller is accused of exploiting approximately $16,439.24 from the impaired, elderly victim.

No bond has been set. Miller is currently being held at the Pike County Jail.

Miller was indicted as a habitual offender and, if convicted, faces up to 10 years behind bars without the possibility of parole.
