Teens arrested in Madison car burglaries

MADISON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Two arrests have been made in connection with a string of car burglaries in Madison.

Richard Lankston, 19, of Flora and a 17-year-old from Madison are each facing charges.

The teens are suspected of being involved in at least 14 thefts from unlocked vehicles in the Cross Creek and Northplace subdivisions.

Investigators were able to recover several items stolen from the vehicles including GPS systems, wallets, sunglasses and other assorted belongings.
