Early clear skies and light winds set up for a nice cool start to the day. High pressure continues control our weather pattern, and that translates into plenty of sunshine and few clouds. Expect highs to reach into the lower 80s with winds from the east at 5-10 mph.
Tonight the clear pattern continues and treats us to another cool and 'relaxing' overnight forecast. No stress of worrying about rain (until the weekend) as high pressure sticks around for another 48 hours. Winds will shift out of the southeast at 5-10 mph.
Tomorrow a few more clouds will work into the state from the west, and we'll brace for rain forming over the weekend. There's a dramatic change in how it will look and feel Friday afternoon; expect mostly cloudy skies. By the evening hours there will be a 20% chance of showers in the forecast and the chances of rain increase over the weekend.
