Susan Gould is in the Warren county jail charged with multiple counts of identity theft.

Gould was the live-in girlfriend of Fred Jackson, a Vicksburg man who was beaten and robbed at Tri-Miss salvage yard in Jackson in January.

Authorities say while Jackson was in a coma, Gould was getting credit cards in his name and selling off his welding equipment.

Gould, who is 30 years old, is charged with:

-id theft
-grand larceny
-check forgery

Sheriff Martin Pace says,"She actually opened at least two charge accounts, two credit cards in his name using his id, she also sold a welding machine and generate off a work truck he had and it also appears she's been writing checks out of his personal checking account."

Fred Jackson's children say she took about $15,000.00

Sheila Hedrick says she started getting the high credit card bills in her fathers name while he was in the hospital. She became suspicious when Gould never came to visit.

Hedrick says, "He passed that morning about 6:30 while we were up there saying our goodbyes to him, she was at Walmart. Spent $420.00. She went to a liquor store that day she got a motel room that day."

Hedrick says she's learned that Susan Gould may have other identity theft charges out of Florida.

"That's a heartless person she's a con artist she took advantage of my daddy and his situation. She was robbing him blind while he was in the hospital fighting for his life," says Hedrick.

Jackson police arrested 29 Year Old Jontez Garvis and 25 Year Old David Thomas of Jackson in the beating. Their charges were upgraded to capital murder.
