Attala Co. Sheriff laid to rest

ATTALA COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Attala County residents gathered to pay their respects to Sheriff William Lee.  

Funeral services were held Thursday at Williamsville Baptist Church. 

Lee was laid to rest at Parkway Cemetery.

Sheriff Lee died this week at UMC in Jackson from natural causes. 

He was serving his second term as sheriff in Attala County. 

Lee was 59.
