Pepsi Pops is a concert of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra. It's sponsored by Brown Bottling Group. WLBT's Maggie Wade will co-host the event.
While attending Pepsi Pops you can sit near the Reservoir and enjoy the orchestra. They'll play a selection of pop and Broadway music, as well as popular movie tunes.
All proceeds from the event help the orchestra provide extensive education programs to the community.
"We have collaborations with Jackson Public Schools, Clinton Public Schools, Canton Public Schools, several private schools and several other cities across the state," said Michael Beattie, the President and Executive Director of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra.
You can pick up tickets in advance at Kroger grocery stores, McDade markets and Regions banks. The gates to Old Trace Park open at 4:30 P.M. For more information call 601-960-1565.
