CRYSTAL SPRINGS, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The search for a missing Copiah County woman has intensified. Linda Gale Reed,65, has been missing since April 29th.

Her car was found abandoned with all her belongings on a trail off I-55 near the Gallman exit.

This week, Texas EquuSearch has helped coordinate the search efforts.  A command post has now been set up at Gallman Baptist Church on Highway 51.

"We've been doing recon work going to places we need to put people on the ground," says David Raider, a Texas EquuSearch leader.

James Reed, whose wife has been missing for almost two weeks says, "I just hope she's unharmed, and she'll be back but I just lean on God and I'm asking for everyone's prayers."

Volunteer searchers are being requested to sign up between the hours of 8 am and dusk daily.

David Holloway, the Father of Natalie Holloway is now assisting in the search.  His daughter Natalie disappeared in Aruba in 2005.

"I can feel for Mr. Reed and his family, because I've been in those shoes for the last seven years," said Holloway.

There is now a $10,000 reward for information in the case.

If you have any information about her disappearance, contact the Copiah County Sheriff's Department.
