JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
The story of Goldie's lucky 13 puppies was featured in a national magazine, Cesar's Way, which is published by Cesar Millan, also known as The Dog Whisperer.
This man rescued the puppies and took them to nearby community animal rescue and adoption, known as CARA.
Denise Cantrell is a spokeswoman for C.A.R.A.
One of the puppies was adopted by 22-year-old Elizabeth Card of Ridgeland who is a student at Mississippi College in Clinton where she is studying to be a social worker.
She says lots of people apparently saw our original story.
Five of the 13 puppies were adopted in the WLBT coverage area.
The mother, Goldie, is up for adoption. They estimate here she is about three years old.
If you would like to adopt her contact C.A.R.A.
