The early morning commute is likely to slow down along I-20 and along State Highway 61 because of the fog. Dense Fog Advisory is in full effect in the delta and central Mississippi. The afternoon sunshine will clear our the leftover moisture and open the door for a high near 82 degrees. The winds will be from the north at 5-10 mph.
Tonight expect mainly clear skies with light winds from the north. Our chances of additional fog during the overnight period is looking slim to none at this time. Calm winds will help the temps fall that much faster during the early morning hours.
Tomorrow will kick off the likely pattern for the rest of the week; that being clear and warmer than usual. High pressure will continue to stay dominant in our area, making for relatively dry conditions. Our chances of rain will stay near or below 10% for the next 3-6 days in a row.
