Rolling Fork man killed in head-on crash with semi

SHARKEY COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Mississippi Highway Patrol reports a man was killed in a head-on collision in Sharkey County Thursday.

David Ewing, 43, of Rolling Fork, was traveling eastbound on Highway 16, east of Highway 61, in a green 2011 GMC.

Authorities say he entered the westbound lane and crashed into a brown 2006 Peterbuilt 18-wheeler driven by Kenneth Ingram, 46.

Ewing was pronounced dead at the scene.

No charges have been filed at this time.
