JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
A stretch of Gallatin Street is set to close starting Sunday morning.
The affected section of Gallatin Street is between South Street and Earle Street.
The closure will allow contractors for the Canadian National Railroad to remove railroad spur crossing in an intersection.
The closure starts at seven o'clock Sunday morning and is scheduled to last until Monday afternoon no later than four o'clock.
Motorists should adhere to all detour signs and drive slowly through the work zone.
