Bikers charged in Saturday shooting

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson police arrested two bikers following Saturdays shooting at a motorcycle club event.

J.P.D. Officer Colendula Green said three people were injured when gunfire erupted in the 600 block of Woodrow Wilson Avenue.

Investigators said an altercation occurred around six o'clock at the Central City Complex.

According to police, the unidentified shooting victims suffered non life threatening injuries.

More than 20 shell casings were found at the scene.

Delre Smith and Bryan Bennett, ages unavailable, have been charged with aggravated assault.

Green said the Jackson men are members of the Street Warfare Motorcycle Club.

Smith and Bennett are being held at the Hinds County Detention Center.
