CRYSTAL SPRINGS, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Crystal Springs Police have made an arrest in a Monday night home invasion that left one man dead.

Twenty-five-year-old Janeko Williams of Crystal Springs has been charged with capital murder in the death of 21-year-old Kelvin Ham.

Crystal Springs Police Chief Cairl Robinson says it happened Monday night around 10:20 at 101 Moore Street.

Ham's brother and an infant were also at the house but weren't injured.

Police believe robbery was the motive in the shooting.  Investigator Chris Palmer says, "There are items missing.  We have the owner doing inventory right now to give us an exact account of what's missing."

Police say the brother of the victim gave detailed information of the shooter which led to Williams arrest.

Chief Cairl Robinson says, "We try to keep Crystal Springs as crime free as possible.  We want everyone to feel good about this place and we want them to feel safe and comfortable in their homes."
