JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson police are still searching for a man, after initially reporting his arrest.  Eric Rodgers is wanted for capital murder and aggravated assault in connection with a deadly shooting on Bloom St Wednesday morning.

Witnesses say the shooting stemmed from an altercation the night before.  The victim, Joe Evans Jr, was missing $10, which led to an argument with Rodgers and three other men.  Police say Rodgers and the others later went to Evans' home on Blooms street, kicked open the door and started shooting.  Evans was killed and another man in the home, Quinterah McIntyre, was injured.

Wednesday afternoon, police arrested Patrick Rodgers, Michael Rodgers, and Robert Stewart.  At the time, officers said they had Eric Rodgers in custody, but he is still at large.
