Michael Guest, the District Attorney for Madison and Rankin Counties, says charges have been dropped against an Associate Director of the G. V. (Sonny) Montgomery Medical Center.
Fifty-nine-year-old Dorothy White-Taylor was arrested in May and charged with prescription fraud. She was accused of obtaining 12 hydrocodone pills and was charged in Rankin County.
"After a review of the file by our office, we did not feel the facts of the case would sustain a conviction," said Guest in an email. "We have therefore closed the prescription fraud case that was turned over to our office."
Taylor had been free on $10,000 bond.
