4th suspect in mid-week shooting death in custody

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The fourth man wanted in a deadly shooting earlier this week in the capital city is now in police custody.

Eric Rodger, 26, has been charged with capital murder and aggravated assault in the death of 26-year-old Joe Evans Jr.

Jackson Police say Evans was shot in the head, inside a home at 922 Bloom Street Wednesday morning. Another man, 22-year-old Quinterah McIntyre, was shot in the right leg near the front steps.

Patrick Rodgers,24, Michael Rodgers,23, and 18-year-old Robert Stewart also face the same charges.
