The warm and muggy conditions will persist through Memorial Day. Low temperatures will only drop into the lower 70s tonight.
Although this Memorial Day will be a sizzler, we cannot rule out an isolated shower or thunderstorm. The chance is slim and any storm that may pop up will be isolated in nature. Therefore, there is no need to cancel any afternoon outdoor activities.
We will finally see a patten change going into the middle portion of the week. As high pressure begins to breakdown, a front will work its way into the region. The best rain chances will be Wednesday evening into Thursday. Once the front has passed, we will have relief from the scorching 90 degree temperatures.
