The early morning fog along I-20 will be short lived as blazing sunshine peaks over the horizon making for a quick warm up for this morning. Expect a high of 95 degrees, with the heat index approaching 100 degrees. There's a slight chance of a spot shower for today, but that's only a minimal 10% chance of that happening. Winds will be from the south today at 6-10 mph.
Tonight we'll see more clouds in the area, with temps slowly dropping into the 70s. More moisture will continue to build during the overnight period; setting the stage for showers by the mid week. Our chances of seeing afternoon spot storms will rise as we progress throughout the work week. Winds continue from the south at 5 mph.
Tomorrow the heat sticks around and temps will stay in the mid 90s. And we'll have a 20% chance of rain developing during the afternoon hours. By Friday we'll have a 50% chance of rain.
