Rankin County deputies responded to a fatal wreck just south of Brandon Wednesday afternoon.
The one-vehicle wreck involving a black Chevy Trailblazer happened on Bethel Road near Highway 468 around 12:30 p.m.
The Rankin County Sheriff's Office has identified the driver of the vehicle as 29-year-old Jason Curtis Floyd of Rankin County.
Curtis was the only occupant of the vehicle and died at the scene after being ejected from the SUV.
Deputies on the scene said it appeared the driver was headed south when the SUV left the road, struck a culvert and flipped multiple times.
