FULTON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A Pearl man had a serious run in with the law in north Mississippi. So did two of his passengers, following a chase from Mississippi to Alabama.

39-year-old Michael Dykes pulled up to the roadblock and handed his driver's license to a Fulton police officer. He pulled over to the side of the road but then was on the run. That started a wild chase all the way into Marion County, Alabama.

The chase that involved multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Mississippi and Alabama Highway Patrol. Officials say it all ended when Dykes pulled over, jumped out and took off on foot.

Rufus Colburn, 45, of Fulton and Jennifer Parker, 32, of Itawamba County were passengers in the vehicle. All three are currently in the Marion County jail facing a laundry list of charges. No word on what prompted the chase.
