PEARL, MS (WLBT) - MBrave starting short stop Andrelton Simmons has been promoted to Atlanta.
Simmons will join the A-Braves on Friday against the Washington Nationals.
He is expected to start at short stop against Washington.
Simmons was batting .292 with nine doubles, two triples and three home runs through 43 games this season for Mississippi.
