The anti-depressant cymbalta may help relieve pain associated with chemotherapy.
Some chemo drugs can leave patients with a painful tingling in the feet and hands. But cymbalta relieves that symptom 60 percent of the time.
Experts say this kind of treatment is necessary because such pain may lead oncologists to limit chemotherapy doses.
-Study led by researchers at the University of California, San Francisco and presented at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology in Chicago
