
The return of the sunshine will be the main feature of today's weather after a night of rumbling and storms marching through central Mississippi. Thus far, estimate of rain range from 1.5" of rain, down to a trace around the state. Today's high will be 90 degrees with winds from the SW at 10-15 mph.
Tonight will be much quieter, much calmer and much drier. Overnight lows will drop to the mid 60s and winds dying down. Additionally a high pressure system to the north will keep it clear during the overnight period. Winds will shift to the NW at 5 mph.
Tomorrow we'll stay a bit muggy with temp dropping just a little bit. However the afternoon high will still be above the norm for this time of the year. Look for a high of 89 degrees and winds from the NE at 5-10mph.
