JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A singing trio of sisters from the delta raised tens of thousands of dollars for the Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital.

Southern Halo performed live for young patients of the hospital Wednesday.

Fifteen year old Natalia, 13 year old Christina and 12 year old Hannah Morris are from Cleveland.

On May 18th they held the first Rocking for Children's Hospital Benefit.

Nashville recording artist Phil Vaught also sang during the fund raising concert.

Prior to singing for the children the sisters presented a check for $25, 296.31 to the hospital.

"This hospital is awesome and it's like the biggest hospital for children in Mississippi. So we had this idea of raising money for it because not a lot of people know it and thanks to this we raised money for it," said eldest sister and Southern Halo guitarist Natalia Morris.

The trio performs southern rock and held the fundraiser at The Warehouse in Cleveland.
