WARREN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Storms brought strong winds that knocked down several trees in Warren County Monday night.
Two homes in the town of Bovina sustained damage.
A tree fell on the porch of a mobile home near downtown.
Two miles away on Tiffentown road, WLBT Weather Watcher Mike Biggers and his wife Nancy's home was also damaged by a large oak tree, when it was uprooted by the storm around 9 p.m.
The home received extensive damage, especially the attic.
Contractors came out Tuesday and told them that several rafters had been knocked down.
Tiffentown Road was temporarily closed as crews worked to remove the tree.
